Well folks, we've survived yet another semester weirdness, fun, and Jiffy doing his darnedest to make sure we walk away mentally traumatized!

*monotone* Yay...

So anyways, now is the time to post any suggestions you have as to how we can change how things are run. Is there anything you like and want to see continue? Anything you want to see done differently? Anything you think we should be doing, not be doing, anyone you want us to hit with a cream pie, whatever! Post your suggestions here and we'll make sure to read them carefully and feed them to our pet goat...I mean take them into consideration.

Seriously, they won't even let us get a goat. I mean how awesome would it be to have a goat?

Welcome to the thread for the Final Meeting and potluck!!!! WOOOOOOO!!!!

With that said, let's get down to some business.

Our final meeting day is Thursday the 13th, in USU 205 (our usual room) and there will much celebrating!

As usual, we will be having a potluck, where everyone brings various foods and such in the hopes to feed themselves and others. Sign-ups will exist in this thread, and a physical list will be passed out during club. Don't sign up if you can't come, and if you don't sign up you don't get food! (unless we have leftovers)

Also, We will be roastin' President Kayla in our very own anime club traditional way. By asking her anything we want, don't hold back okay?

Finally, we are asking for your random video clips, can you out random Jiffy? Test your strength by sending him the random youtube videos you want to have approved to his E-mail address at stopsignwithfeet@hotmail.com

Hopefully this will be lots of fun!

We still have t-shirts to distribute. If you ordered a t-shirt last semester and have not yet received it, be sure to pick it up before the end of the semester!

You can speak to one of the officers during the meetings or, if you can't make it, contact us on the board to let us know how to make sure it gets to you!

CSULB Anime Club Maid Cafe 2010

What?: Maid Cafe.
When?: Thursday, April 15. 7:00PM.
Where?: The USU Ballroom, located on the second floor. If you're not sure where that is, refer to the map below.

Remember, this event is reservation only. We are not selling tickets at the door. If you have not yet purchased a ticket and still want to go, contact an officer as soon as possible before the spaces fill up. Tickets are ten dollars apiece, unless you are a guest of a staff member, in which case they are five dollars apiece. And absolutely no sharking!

Also remember, this is to be a fun time to be enjoyed by everyone. Please remember things like common courtesy and manners. We do not want to have to ask anyone to leave. Seriously, that would just suck.

And above all, have fun! See you all there!

Last classroom of the semester!

Next week will be our much-planned-for Maid Cafe, in the CSULB Ballrooms. If you wish to attend, tickets are $10. Come buy them at meeting or contact on the officers. We will not be having a regular meeting outside of Maid Cafe.

We're back in the USU, regular time and place, until Spring Break.

Sorry about all this last-minute planning, guys. We had a sudden dearth of officers free on Saturday. Fear not, however, for you get the somewhat-awesome Kayla and Kelvin to lead you.

I set the map to take you to the Japanese American museum, which a) is near a cheap public parking lot ($6.50 for a day, I think), and b) across the street from where we’ll be meeting up. Remember to bring change/cash for parking.

We will be meeting up at the Pyramid at 10 AM for carpools and a caravan. At the last meeting, we realized there are a lot more people who need rides than people who have rides to offer, so if anyone else can drive people to Little Tokyo, please come. We’ll try to leave by 10:30. I will bring maps to hand out if people need. Officers: Kayla and Steven

(Also, if anyone is interested, you can get to little Tokyo via public transportation, using the Metro to get to Union Station in Los Angeles. Comment if you want the details.)

We’ll probably be getting to the meet-up spot in Little Tokyo between 11 and 11:30 for people who are coming on their own. We are meeting at the large red Japanese-style tower in front of the Japanese Village Plaza. In no particular order, we will visit the Japanese Market Plaza, Anime Jungle # and 2, and Weller Court.

Lunch will be around 1, when we hit Weller Court, but there are several food palces in the area to eat at, so feel free to wander off. Kayla, and probably Kelvin, are going to attempt the Special #2 ramen at Orochon. It will be entertaining.

After lunch, there’s Kinokuniya bookstore and Marukai market in Weller Court.
By 2:30 or 3, we’ll split into two groups: one group will head to the Japanese American museum. Note that it costs $5 is you have a school ID. The other group will go up to the arcade in the old Mall.

From here, we pretty much do as we please until we leave.

We'll have to be a little quieter, but the classrooms aren't too bad. Just remember: we're in the USU much more regularly than usual, and it was classroom or no room. be thankful, darn it.
