Anime Club MEETING rules

1. Clean up after yourselves
If food & drinks are brought to the meeting rooms, everyone is responsible for their’s and their neighbors’ trash.

2. Keep volume level in moderate levels
You may not blast loud volume coming out of your laptop nor your own speakers nor whatever other portable device that has the potential for loud volume settings. You may disturb people who are paying attention to the anime in the front of the room.

3. Quiet in the front, little louder in the back
Generally, most people who sit in the front tend to pay attention more to the anime shown while people in the back tends to just socialize. This is just a generally accepted trend in the club.

4. No loitering in the hallways but the patio is okay
Due to general policy of the CSULB University Student Union, it is a FIRE HAZARD to loiter within the hallway. That being said, use the patio area just across from the room or any room that proves to be a vacant spot to go into and hang out.

5. Anime Club are not responsible for those outside of the meeting rooms
Due to limitations in supervision, those outside of the assigned anime club room are not the club’s responsibility.

6. Please, TAKE A SHOWER!!!
This is not a convention. Please take a shower and maintain proper hygiene. If somebody kindly lets you know you do not smell too great or is slowly moving away from you, maybe you have some horrible body odor that others can smell except you.  Please do not take any offense, we just assume since you are in college that you can take care of yourself concerning this situation.

7. Anime Club is NOT Otaku Booty Dating Service
First of all, no means NO! If the individual is not interested in you, please respect their space or else measures will be taken against you. This problem has happened before in the past and we do not take kindly in any sort of sexual harassment.

8. Everyone is responsible for their own transportation
Everyone is responsible for their own form of transportation to come to the club meetings. CSULB Anime Club will not be responsible for transportation problems that may happen. It is up to you to set up your own carpooling situation if it is needed.

9. Be decent and act appropriately
Please act appropriately. People in the club meetings represent the club itself. That means no fighting, biting, spitting, sexual intercourse, stabbing, gun slinging, seppuku, jumping on tables, acting like a child, pimping, getting naked, foot stomping, head butting, giving head, showing pornography in public, etc., etc., etc.  You can have a good time, just learn when to turn off the immature side when needed.

If you’d like to have the rules read to you, please check out this video.

Anime Club Outside Events Rules

1. General Anime Club Meeting Rules applies
Rules regarding the General Anime Club Meeting Rules also apply to outside events. Please see the INFORMATION tab at the top of the page for details regarding General Anime Club Meeting Rules.

2. Everyone is responsible for their own transportation
Just like anime club meetings, we can’t provide members with any form of transportation. You are responsible for setting up your own carpools.

3. No special treatment is given to any member
We don’t care if you appeared on TV, respect is earned and you are no “god” among humans; Don’t be full of yourself. For example, if everyone lines up for an event, do not expect to be exempt from lining up.

4. Want to do something during the activity? Speak up!
If you have an idea during the activities, the anime club officers will do the best they can to accommodate what you want to do for the current or future activities.
